20th annual Water Warriors Endurance Ride

Date: Jul 26, 2010 to Jul 30, 2010

Location: Mackinaw City to Harsens Island

Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their first ride down Lake Huron, the Water Warriors are set to start their personal watercraft and ride to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Michigan (SOMI).  Since their first ride in 1991, the Water Warriors have raised over $2 Million for SOMI.

This year’s ride will begin on July 26th in Mackinaw City.  The Water Warriors will travel over 350 miles down Lake Huron and end their five-day ride at the Idle Hour Yacht Club on Harsens Island on July 30th.



Be a part of the ride that changes lives!

The Water Warriors are looking for new riders to join them for their 20th Anniversary Ride this summer.  Anyone who is looking to make a difference in the lives Special Olympics Michigan athletes across the state is invited to get involved.  Riders must be older than 18 year of age and meet a minimum fundraising commitment.  For individuals who cannot commit to a 5-day journey, shorter ride commitments are available.
