Applebee’s is having a statewide fundraiser for Special Olympics Michigan at 66 locations in Michigan from May 31 through June 27. Customers can either purchase a $5 gold medallion or a $1 bronze medallion.

With the purchase of a gold medallion, customers will receive a coupon from Applebee’s for $5 off any purchase of $25 or more during their next visit. There is a limit of one $5 coupon per order, which does not apply toward purchase of gift cards, alcohol, tax or gratuity. It is not redeemable for cash or valid with any other offer or discount. The coupon expires July 15, 2010 and is only valid in participating Michigan locations.

Applebee’s is also hosting three Golf Outing Fundraisers to raise money for Special Olympics Michigan athletes. The fundraisers will be held in Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Novi, Mich.
