Ties & Tennies Gala

Join us as we return to Ford Field for the Special Olympics Michigan Ties and Tennies Gala Friday November 5th and help us raise funds in support of our programs and athletes. Pair black tie optional evening attire with your tennis shoes in camaraderie with our Athletes, for an unforgettable evening of dining, dancing, and inspiration. The Ties and Tennies Gala is the organization's signature event in southeast Michigan which has the largest athlete population served in all of Michigan.

This year's event will be available to attend both in-person and virtually. Whichever way you choose to attend, your support will benefit over 22,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities in Michigan, by funding year-round sports and training, health and wellness programming, and anti-bullying education. 

The Special Olympics Movement can ultimately transform communities by inspiring people throughout the world to open their minds, to accept and include people with intellectual disabilities, and thereby celebrate differences among all people, in the context of the greater similarities we all share.
