State Winter Games
The 2025 State Winter Games will take place February 4 - February 7, 2025 at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa, Schuss Village at Shanty Creek Resort, and Howe Arena in the Grand Traverse area.
Special Olympics Michigan holds more than 700 local and regional competitions each year in addition to seven state-level competitions and four district basketball tournaments. Information on local and regional competitions can be found on the events calendar. State-level competition information can be found below.
District Basketball / Senior Traditional & Unified Females Final Basketball
The 2025 District Basketball will take place March in Alma, Grand Rapids, Detroit. The 2025 State Basketball Tournament will be held March in the Grand Rapids area. Specific dates for these events will be determined in Fall 2024.
