The first-ever Special Olympics Michigan Virtual Winter Games presented by Wertz Warriors is open now through February 24!
Athletes and Unified can choose from up to three events in sports categories including snowshoe, snow walk/run, cross country skiing, alpine skiing, snowboarding, figure skating, and speed skating. Participants can practice from home or an outdoor space and will submit their results by Wednesday, February 24.
One February 26, there will be a Winter Games Celebration online showcasing the participants of the Virtual Winter Games as well as those taking part in the regional winter sports events happening in Grand Rapids and Detroit on February 20.
